It is Pastor Michelle’s desire that all of God’s people fulfill their potential in which the Lord has purposed them; living out their God given destiny where lives are impacted and God is glorified.
Pastor Michelle is the wife of Reverend Alan Alexander, the Senior Pastor of Daybreak Assembly, Inc. They have three wonderful children. She received her Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.
After graduation she was employed by a Crisis Intervention Center working with people facing difficult situations such as those contemplating suicide, victims of sexual assault, domestic violence as well as the mentally unstable. As a the Prevention Specialist she also lectured male and female college students on the issue of “Date Rape Awareness”, and spoke to children in elementary schools about stranger danger and home alone safety. When Pastor Michelle returned to Florida she was hired by the Broward County School Board and taught first and fourth grade.
She is an ordained minister and the Co-Pastor of Daybreak Assembly, and also serves as the director of the Faith Education Department which oversees various ministries such as: Sunday School, Children’s Ministry, Special Bible Study curriculum, and Vacation Bible School. She oversees and is one of the Choreographers for the Daybreak Dance Ministry. Additionally, she established a ministry for women called “Vessels of Honor” as a way to reach out to, and equip all women with the Word of God. This is accomplished by providing avenues for women to study the bible and make practical application in their lives, connect, fellowship, and glean from the experiences of one another.
